Mission
Monday, 23 March 2009 18:49
My goals as an artist and inventor are forever entwined. As an artist, my goal is to always improve… to always become more experienced, more technically-adept, more creative, and more visionary. As an inventor and machine maker, my mission is to make my tattoo machines the best possible solution for tattooing. In pursuit of these dual goals, I strive to always learn more about art and product design. If I’m to continue to improve as an artist, the machines I make must also be constantly improving.

My ultimate mission therefore consists of always making the best possible tattooing solutions. I believe that, with the right help, I can accomplish just what this industry needs - a little technology to give us all more freedom to create.

You can see a bit of this in our new product, the Neuma Hybrid. It is clear that we went far beyond what was expected in terms of technological development in its evolution from the n2, the original Neuma tattoo machine already loved by legions of artists. The new Hybrid goes way above and beyond the performance of the n2. The amount of engineering that went into it is impressive. I can say with confidence that some of the world’s best engineers and designers put their hearts and minds into the Hybrid’s development. There is no doubt in my mind that they will continue to help Neuma complete many more fantastic projects, because, for as long as I have the ability, I will do everything I can to continue to produce all that I can for the tattoo world.

History

Neuma Tattoo Machines was started by tattoo artist Carson Hill in the year 2000 when he invented the first pneumatic tattoo machine and began the patent process. In the early years, the company was secondary to his tattoo career while Carson focused on tattooing and continued to grow as an artist. Carson has used only Neuma tattoo machines for nearly his entire career.

Through the years, many Neuma2 (or n2) tattoo machines were sold, but it wasn’t until April of 2007 that Carson incorporated the company and decided to take things a step further. It was then that he enlisted the help of some amazing people who helped him create a business for Neuma and establish Neuma as the technology leader in the tattoo industry – always striving to advance the state of tattoo technology.

Neuma, its partner, and its affiliates continue to offer Neuma equipment at reasonable prices. At Neuma, we take pride in listening to your suggestions and constantly working to improve the products we offer. Now, in 2009, we are happy to bring you our new products and websites.
